Overview

Arts Education Grants for Organizations support projects or programs that address student learning in, through and with the arts. Applicants are encouraged to apply for projects that develop partnerships with classroom teachers, arts specialists, schools and school districts that strengthen instruction and improve student learning in academic areas such as math and reading, enhance the school's current arts programs, provide after school programs that connect to the school day curriculum or conduct teacher training as part of a more comprehensive arts learning program. Applicants are also encouraged to link their program goals to the school or the school district's improvement plans, which include standards for student learning.
