2007 Mayor's Partnership Awards


The Phoenix Youth and Education Commission annually recognizes successful partnerships formed by schools and businesses. This program is a great opportunity to place schools and businesses in the spotlight, while encouraging others to get involved in these very meaningful partnerships.

These education partnerships illustrate the importance of people and organizations becoming actively involved in a local community. Each partnership is unique but they all commit and utilize their time and financial or human resources to creating a positive effect on the youth in this community.

As you read about the current and past partnerships, we hope to inspire ideas that will create new partnerships in the City of Phoenix. Many more schools need the assistance of local businesses and organizations to establish programs that enrich the education of our children. Education partnerships do make a difference. Ask any business or school partner about the impact of their collaboration.
