NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

ESTRELLA VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

*REVISED

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to members of the ESTRELLA VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE and to the general public, that the ESTRELLA VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE will hold a meeting open to the public on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., located at Fowler District Board Room, 1617 South 67th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.

Note:

1. Agenda items may be taken out of order.

2. Anyone wishing to address an item should complete a speaker card, in addition:

3. a. Those wishing to address an item that may be voted on should signify their support or opposition on the speaker card.

b. The speaker card should be submitted to the Village Secretary prior to discussion of the item.

4. Due to the time required for the number of items, the following time limits are recommended so that the Committee may give all the items the same level of attention:

a. Staff report and recommendation

b. Applicant (15 minutes).

c. Other interested parties (2 minutes).

d. Applicant response (5 minutes).

e. Staff comments

f. Floor Closed: Committee motion, discussion and vote.

1.	Call to Order.

2.	Review and approval of the August 5, 2008 minutes.

	RECOMMENDATION ITEMS
3.	Presentation, discussion and possible recommendation on Z-35-08-7. A request to rezone approximately 147.32 acres located south of the southeast corner of 107th Avenue and Broadway Road. The request is from S-1 and RE-43 to R1-10 for single-family residential. Presentation by Stephen Earl, Earl, Curley and Lagarde. The Planning Commission will review this request on September 10, 2008.

	INFORMATION ITEMS:
4.	Presentation and update on Estrella Village Core Plan.

*5.	Update and discussion on Metro I-10 West Community Meetings

6.	Staff update on cases recently reviewed by the committee (not for committee discussion or action)

7.	Public comments concerning items not on the agenda (not for committee discussion or action).

8.	Committee member requests for information, follow-up or future agenda items (not for committee discussion or action)

	The next regular meeting is October 7, 2008
