NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

PHOENIX COMMISSION ON HOUSING AND NEIGHBORHOODS

 

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the PHOENIX COMMISSION ON HOUSING AND NEIGHBORHOODS and to the general public, that the PHOENIX COMMISSION ON HOUSING AND NEIGHBORHOODS will hold a meeting open to the public on October 15, 2008 at 4:30 p.m. located in the 12 East Conference Room, 12th Floor, Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington, Phoenix, Arizona.

 

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

 

1.      

Call to Order, Welcome and Introductions

Review and approval of the minutes from the meeting on August 20, 2008

Presentation regarding the funds allocated to the City under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA)

 

This item will be a presentation about the Neighborhood Stabilization funds allocated to the City of Phoenix under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act passed by Congress.

Discuss and consider changing the date, time and  frequency of Phoenix Commission on Housing and Neighborhoods Meetings

 

This item will be a discussion to determine the feasibility of changing the date, time and the frequency of meetings for the Commission.

Discussion and Possible Action regarding partnering with the City of Phoenix on foreclosure education activities.

 

This item will be a discussion on how the Commission can partner with the City of Phoenix to education various communities on foreclosure prevention.

This is a time for the public to comment.  Members of the Board may not discuss items that are not specifically identified on the agenda. Therefore, pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.01(G), action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter, responding to any criticism or scheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date.
