Museum Education

Pueblo Grande Museum's educational programs are mission-driven. Our responsibility as a museum encompasses reaching out to the public and empowering them to understand and appreciate what archaeology, history, and culture studies can provide them. We do this both by providing the opportunity and tools to learn about archaeolgy as well as by opening the doors for their involvement. We believe that museum sponsored learning helps our citizens understand how and why the past is relevant to the present. In doing so, we build a foundation of awareness and cultivate an appreciation of our nation's heritage.
