The City of Phoenix Water Services Department (Department) will replace the existing sanitary sewer main in Broadway Road with a new larger main with increased capacity to meet future growth. The overall project has been broken into four segments:

Segment 2A: Broadway Road: 51st Avenue to 31st Avenue and Wier Avenue: 43rd Avenue to 35th Avenue

Segment 2B: Broadway Road: 31st Avenue to 10th Avenue

Segment 2C: Broadway Road: 10th Avenue to 16th Street, and includes rehabilitation and repair of the existing sewer pipe in the local streets between 9th Avenue and 16th Street

Segment 2D: Broadway Road: 16th Street to 32nd Street

Construction activities for Segment 2A will require traffic restrictions and occasional road closures. Construction equipment, personnel, and flaggers will be present in the work zone. Please follow all traffic control signage and adhere to the reduced speed limit and parking restrictions. Help to keep yourself and the work crew safe, drive slowly and safely through the work zones.
