Minimum Standards Information
We are committed to working with our tenants and users as we develop Minimum Standards for our airports. The Aviation Department anticipates the next steps to finalize the Minimum Standards and associated fees for each activity to start in April 2008. The process is the Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board (PAAB) Subcommittee for Business and Development, the PAAB, and then to City Council (for the fees only).
The City of Phoenix recently completed the public presentation of the Minimum Standards Specialized Aviation Service Operators (SASO). The next step is to go to Phoenix City Council for approval of the following SASOs and their associated fees: lndependent Maintenance Operator, lndependent Avionics or lnstrument Maintenance Operator, Aircraft Sales Operator, Sightseeing Flight Operator, Aircraft Cleaning Operator, Aircraft Painting Operator, Aircraft Charter or Management Operator, Aircraft Maintenance Operator, Avionics or lnstrument ~aintenanceo perator, Aircraft Rental or Flight Training Operator, and Aircraft Storage Operator. The meetings below will cover these Minimum Standards and the associated fees.
Public Meeting Times and Locations
- Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board - Thursday, June 19, at 3:00 p.m. in the PAAB Conference Room, Terminal 3, Level 3, West Mezzanine of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
- Phoenix City Council -Wednesday, July 2, at 3:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 200 W. Jefferson Street.
