District 4 Councilman Tom Simplot will attend the seventh annual Melrose on Seventh Avenue Street Fair Saturday, March 15. The public is invited to attend the free event from 3 to 9 p.m. located along Seventh Avenue between Indian School Road and Campbell Avenue.

“The Melrose District on Seventh Avenue has a welcoming, nostalgic feel, and this street fair gives you a prime taste of that. It demonstrates a true partnership between local businesses and adjacent neighborhoods, as everyone is involved in some way, either by having a booth, serving on the planning committee, or just coming out and having a good time,” said Simplot, one of the event sponsors.

The street fair will feature food and specials from local merchants, live musical entertainment, street performers, works by local artists, children’s activities and a classic car show.
