Councilman Greg Stanton's
Ahwatukee Republic Letter to Editor

September 2005

Kudos to Ahwatukee Foothills VPC

I read with great interest your Wednesday, Sept. 28, article on the Ahwatukee Foothills Village Planning Committee and the important recommendations the group makes. To me, the role of Village Planning Committees is crucial.

As a former member of the Ahwatukee Foothills Village Planning Committee, I listen to the group’s input and understand the hard work they do.

As a matter of fact, in 12 of the last 14 zoning cases in Ahwatukee Foothills, City Council has voted to support the Committee’s recommendations.

Thank you to the volunteers on the Village Planning Committee. You are doing a superb job.

Phoenix City Councilman Greg Stanton represents Ahwatukee Foothills. If you have any questions about any issues, please feel free to call Councilman Stanton's office at 602-262-7491, e-mail greg.stanton@phoenix.gov or visit phoenix.gov/district 6.
