Councilman Greg Stanton and his wife Nicole will host a child car seat safety check event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Church of the Beatitudes overflow parking lot, 555 W. Glendale Ave. (northwest corner of Glendale and Seventh avenues).

Certified child passenger safety technicians from the Phoenix Fire Department will inspect child car seats, ensure they are properly installed and provide safety and maintenance tips. The event is free and parents of children using car seats are encouraged to attend.
