Councilman Greg Stanton Hosts Hands-on Education Blitz

Councilman Greg Stanton will shadow a teacher for half-a-day at one school in each of the school districts located in the areas of Ahwatukee Foothills, Arcadia, Biltmore and north Central Phoenix. The visits will begin later this month and extend until November.

The school districts include Madison, Kyrene, Creighton, Balsz, Phoenix Union and Tempe Union. Various topics will be covered, including anatomy, calculus and algebra. Participating schools are:

  • Madison Rose Lane Elementary, 1155 E. Rose Lane
  • Camelback High School, 4612 N. 28th St.
  • Kyrene Monte Vista Elementary, 15221 S. Ray Road
  • Mountain Pointe High School, 4201 E. Knox Road
  • Orangedale Elementary School, 5048 E. Oak St.
  • Arcadia High School, 4703 E. Indian School Road
  • Squaw Peak School, 4601 N. 34th St.
