Councilman Stanton Announces Ahwatukee Foothills Crime & Fraud Prevention Forum

Councilman Greg Stanton will be a featured speaker during a Crime & Fraud Prevention Forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the Desert Vista High School Cafeteria, 16440 S. 32nd St.

The forum will be an opportunity for Ahwatukee Foothills residents to learn more about crime and fraud impacting the state, including methamphetamine, human smuggling and drug trafficking, identify theft, consumer scams, elder abuse and Internet safety. During the event, residents can participate in discussions with law enforcement officials about crime in their community.

Other featured speakers include Attorney General Terry Goddard and Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris. The forum is sponsored by the Ahwatukee Republic, the Attorney General’s Office, Stanton and the Phoenix Police Department.
